*KEYNOTE ADDRESS* Jeanmarie Davis, Senior Vice President, FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK
Jeanmarie Davis is a senior vice president in the financial institution supervision group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is the head of the financial market infrastructure function. This function is responsible for supervisory oversight of payments, clearing and settlement activities at commercial banks and financial market utilities. Ms. Davis also co-chairs the OTC Derivatives Working Group of The Financial Stability Board.
Ms. Davis has held various positions of increasing responsibility at the N.Y. Fed since 1985. Her twenty-eight years of experience in supervision has covered many areas, including banking applications, operational risk, liquidity risk, complex banking organization, recovery and resolution and financial market infrastructure. Recent areas of focus include OTC derivatives, foreign exchange settlement, tri-party repo, and prime brokerage.
Ms. Davis holds a B.A. degree from Colgate University and an M.B.A. degree from Baruch College.

Michael Melvin's service with BlackRock dates back to 2005, including his years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009. Prior to joining BGI in 2005, Dr. Melvin was Professor of Economics and Dean's Council Distinguished Scholar at Arizona State University. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Germany and a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Board and International Monetary Fund. He has been a visiting professor at the Kellogg School, Northwestern University; Anderson School, UCLA; University of Frankfurt; University of Munich; and UC San Diego. He currently serves as adjunct professor at the Haas School, UC Berkeley.

Portfolio Manager, CalPERS, Currency, International Fixed Income and Commodities, with over 20 years currency trading, foreign fixed income, sales and portfolio management experience. Eric is responsible for CalPERS' multi billion U.S. Dollar Currency program consisting of an internal programs and external managers, the International (non USD) Fixed Income program which is entirely managed by external managers and the internally managed commodity portfolio
Before joining CalPERS Eric held positions as a proprietary currency and fixed income trader at Koch Industries, Inc., responsible for the multi billion-dollar company-wide currency exposures.
Previously he held a wide variety of trading, sales and management positions with the Toronto Dominion Bank, including that of Chief Dealer and Director of the Currency Desk.
Sean Bill, Investment Program Manager, SANTA CLARA VTA and Trustee, CITY OF SAN JOSE POLICE AND FIRE RETIREMENT PLAN
Sean Bill is the Investment Program Manager at the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). He is responsible for the oversight and management of the agency's cash management programs and public fund investment activities, which includes serving as the Chief Investment Officer of the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 265 Pension Plan. Sean also serves as a Trustee for the City of San Jose's Police and Fire Department Retirement Plan. He was appointed to a four year term by the City Council and Mayor Chuck Reed in an effort to improve Board governance and the plan's investment returns; he is a member of both the Audit and Investment Committees. Prior to entering public service Sean spent 15 years as a trader, research analyst and portfolio manager at both traditional long-only and alternative asset managers. Sean is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Michel Del Buono, Global Investment Strategist , MAKENA CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
Michel Del Buono is a member of the asset allocation team where his primary responsibilities are global investment strategy, currency and risk management. Prior to joining Makena Capital Management, Michel was the sole Analyst at Scion Capital, a San Jose-based hedge fund. Prior to Scion, Michel spent four years as an Engagement Manager and Associate at McKinsey & Co. where he served private equity clients with their due diligence and asset valuation work. Before joining McKinsey, Michel worked as a Risk Manager at Pacificorp Power and Marketing, the VP of Business Development at ePlan Inc., a Portfolio Manager at Glenbrook Capital LP, and as a Special Researcher at the Brookings Institute. Michel serves on the Investment Committee for Dignity Health. He earned his PhD in Management Science and Engineering with a focus in applied economics from Stanford , where he was a DARPA fellow. He also earned his MSc in Engineering-Economic Systems and Operations Research from Stanford and his MPhil in Economics, from Girton College, Cambridge, where he was a World Bank fellow. Michel graduated from the University of Virginia with a BSc in Systems Engineering with High Honors.
Yevgeny Frenkel, Executive Managing Director, Macro Portfolio Manager, CADDO CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
Mr. Frenkel manages and trades the systematic strategy for Caddo Capital as well as collaborates in research and development of the next generation of trading strategies. He has more than 12 years experience as a trader focused on systematic and discretionary macro strategies, including portfolio management roles at West End Capital, Black River, and Voras Capital. Mr. Frenkel graduated from University of Chicago (M.B.A in Quantitative Finance and Accounting) and from Brandeis University (B.A. in Economics and Politics).
Dori Levanoni, Partner, Co-Director of Global Macro, FIRST QUADRANT
Dori Levanoni is a partner co-heading the firm's Global Macro Strategies. He is involved in all aspects of product development: model building, risk measurement, risk allocation and portfolio optimization. Dori initially focused on tactical asset allocation, currency, and global macro strategies. Dori joined FQ in 1991 as an intern while studying physics at California Institute of Technology. He left in 1995 to work in the anatomy / neurobiology department for Washington University in St. Louis. Returning in 1996 as head of systems, Dori joined the investment team and served as manager of currency research and director of the currency product.
Lynn Challenger, Global Head of Trading, MELLON CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
Lynn Challenger is Managing Director and Head of Global Trading at Mellon Capital.
With over 22 years of investment experience, Lynn is responsible for trading and broker relationship management at the firm.
Lynn's previous roles have included Head of Americas FX Options Trading at Dresdner Kleinwort, New York, and from 2001 to 2004, CEO and founder of Mercator Associates, San Francisco.
From 1997 to 2001, Lynn served as Vice President of equity and index derivatives trading at WR Hambrecht & Company, San Francisco, and from 1995 to1997, head of Asian FX Options in Singapore with Credit Suisse. Prior to Singapore, he was head USD FX options trader in London, UK. From 1991 to 1995, Lynn served as senior FX options
trader for O'Connor and Associates/Swiss Bank Corporation.
Lynn serves as Chair of the Trade Management Oversight Committee, and the Charity Committee, and is a member of Sovereign Risk Committee, Investment Management Committee, Senior Management Committee, and Fiduciary Committee. Lynn also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes San Francisco chapter.
He has been a member of the NYSE Euronext's Institutional Traders Advisory Committee (ITAC) since 2011, and a member of the New York Federal Reserve Bank's Foreign Exchange Committee (FXC) since 2012.
Lynn received his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
Vikas Srivastava, Managing Director, Business Development, INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
Vikas Srivastava joined Integral in October 2010. Prior to joining Integral, Vikas was founder and CEO of a quantitative trading company. Before that, he spent ten years at Citigroup in New York in numerous senior management positions, leaving as its global head of e-commerce for the fixed income division. In this role, he was responsible for building and distributing electronic execution products and services across all fixed income and foreign exchange businesses, and managed Citigroup investments in multi-dealer platforms. Prior to working at Citi, Vikas was the head of currency trading and risk management at Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock) in San Francisco. Vikas holds a MBA from Tulane University, Louisiana, and a MS from the Southern Illinois University, Illinois.
Nick Solinger, Chief Marketing Officer, TRAIANA
An experienced growth technology executive, Nick Solinger is responsible for marketing and product strategy at Traiana. Prior to joining the company in 2002, Nick led the team that defined and launched the Traiana Harmony offering, which today is the firm's flagship product and an important infrastructure for FX markets. Before joining Traiana in 2002, Nick held a series of successively more senior roles at business-to-business ecommerce and supply chain leader Ariba Inc. He joined Ariba in 1997 when it was a small but growing start-up, and went on to serve as VP Product Marketing across Ariba's series of enterprise software and on-line service offerings. Prior to Ariba, Nick managed the Americas Application Technology team at Oracle Corporation.
Seth Freeman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer, EM CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
Seth R. Freeman is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer and a co-founder of EM Capital Management, LLC, an independent San Francisco-based asset manager specializing in emerging and frontier markets. Now focused on South Asia, he began his emerging markets career in Latin America, principally in México post the country's banking system collapse in 1994. During this period, Seth spent several years commuting to México City on behalf of agencies of the Mexican Central Bank and participated in the disposition and sale of assets from the portfolios of distressed and intervened banks.He later advised investors on the acquisition and restructuring of impaired and/or troubled assets and operating companies across a variety of industries..
Seth recently served as Lead Portfolio Manager of a U.S. listed India-focused mutual fund with a mid and small-cap bias. He is an expert in organizing and building emerging and frontier markets investment infrastructure, investment implementation and research. Prior to organizing EM Capital Management, Seth was a senior consultant, emerging markets, for Barr Rosenberg Investment Management.
Seth recently served as the project leader of the Emerging Markets Disclosure India Project (EMDP), sponsored by US-SIF and IFC to benchmark and influence ESG reporting and practices of Indian corporations. Seth is also Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and provides fiduciary services, including interim management and recovery of troubled and complex cross-border assets, investment fraud examinations and investment-related litigation support.
Seth is a frequent contributor on Bloomberg TV, Wall Street Journal, Economic Times, Business Standard, DNA India, Business Week, Forbes, Bloomberg and other media. He regularly appears live on India's leading business news channels, NDTV-Profit, CNBC and CNBC Awaaz, Bloomberg UTV and ET Now (Economic Times). Seth leads emerging markets investment seminars and has been a speaker or moderator on emerging and frontier markets asset management at leading MBA programs including University of Chicago, UC Berkeley Haas, Thunderbird, Wharton, Georgetown, NYU, Columbia and Harvard; and at major investment conferences around the world. Javier Corominas, Portfolio Manager and Head of Research, RECORD CURRENCY MANAGEMENT
Javier Corominas is a Portfolio Manager and Head of Research at Record Currency Management. Javier is also a member of Record's Investment Management Group and Investment Committee which are responsible for overseeing Record's currency funds and segregated client portfolios. As Head of Reesearch, Javier and his team have significant experience in providing fundamental and macroeconomic research, as well as quantitative currency modelling with a view to developing new investment strategies and products. Before joining Record, Javier worked as Chief European Economist at Oxford Economics, a leading macroeconomic forecasting consultancy, and holds both a BA (First Class) and MPhil degree in Economics from Cambridge University.
Satish Swamy, Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, BOARD OF REGENTS, UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA
Satish Swamy, CFA, is Senior Portfolio Manager and a member of the portfolio management team responsible for managing the fixed income portfolios for the Board of Regents, University of California (UC). Prior to joining the Treasurer's Office of UC in 1998, Mr. Swamy was VP/Director of Reuters Risk Management, Quantitative Analyst for Lincoln Investment Management and Fixed Income Analyst for Analytic Investors.
Mr. Swamy was President of the CFA society of San Francisco (CFASF) in 2011. He founded GARP's San Francisco, California Chapter in 1997 and has since been serving as its Director.
Mr. Swamy earned an MBA in finance from the University of Southern California, an MS in engineering from the University of Houston and a BE in electronics engineering from the University of Bangalore, India. Mr. Swamy is a CFA Charter Holder and he has contributed as an author, writing two chapters in the Handbook of Derivative Instruments.
Josh Harlan, Director of New Strategies Development, SUNRISE CAPITAL
Josh Harlan joined Sunrise in 2008 and currently serves the firm as the Director of New Strategies Development. Harlan is the architect of Sunrise's electronic trading infrastructure and key contributor to many other of the firm's research, trading and technology initiatives. Prior to joining Sunrise, Harlan earned his Master of Science in Finance in 2008 from the University of Arizona, and his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in 2006 from the University of Arizona.

Tom Sampson, Managing Director, Director of Execution Strategies, WELTON INVESTMENT CORPORATION
Mr. Sampson oversees the firm's execution strategies, co-manages the firm's front-end trading systems and also serves on the firm's research team. Mr. Sampson was formerly the General Partner of a floor based equity options market making firm and worked as a Senior Trader with Optimation Investment Management. He draws on his market microstructure knowledge and experience in proprietary trading, quantitative volatility and relative value analysis to manage the firm's algorithmic trading operation and assist with the ongoing research agenda.
Jason Leinwand, Head of FX Trading and Strategy, METLIFE INVESTMENTS
Jason Leinwand is head of Currency strategy and trading at MetLife. As the chief currency strategist, he is responsible for developing the Investment department's views on currencies, managing the risk surrounding its non-dollar currency exposures, and providing global currency strategy to MetLife's lines of business.
Prior to joining MetLife in 2006, Mr. Leinwand spent twenty years as a senior dealer in foreign exchange markets, focusing on trading all aspects of foreign exchange, from spot FX and forwards to Forward Rate Agreement currency derivatives. His previous experience includes senior trading positions at Lloyds Bank; Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette; Man Financial and Calyon Financial.

Momtchil Pojarliev, Senior Portfolio Manager, HATHERSAGE CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
Momtchil Pojarliev, CFA, is a senior portfolio manager for Hathersage Capital Management LLC. He joined Hathersage after a decade of experience managing foreign exchange (FX) portfolios as the head of currencies at Hermes Pension Fund Management, senior FX portfolio manager at Pictet & Cie, and senior FX portfolio manager at Invesco. In addition, Dr. Pojarliev has advised various asset management firms, including PIMCO and Goldman Sachs Asset Management, in the area of currency return analytics. He has published extensively in finance and investment journals. He is a member of The Economic Club of New York and the Swiss Society for Financial Market Research. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Financial Analysts Journal. He received his PhD from the University of Basel.

Ron DiRusso, Co-CIO and Director of Research, FX CONCEPTS
Ron has been Head of Investment Research at FX Concepts since August 2011. He joined in February 2009 as a Portfolio Manager in options trading. He has spent the last twelve years in systematic portfolio management for investment managers.
Although Ron has significant experience managing portfolios, he has also spent time in research and trading at major investment banks. From 1996 to 2001, he was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers, where he ran the global foreign exchange options business. From 1985 to 1996, he worked at Goldman Sachs in the J. Aron Division where he held several positions in trading and research. Prior to his position at Goldman Sachs, he worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories as a researcher.
Ron received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Cooper Union in 1980 and a MS in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1982.
Gabriel Sod Hoffs, Analyst, Fixed Income and FX, DODGE & COX
Gabriel holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University. At Dodge & Cox he focuses on global fixed income, currencies and macro issues. Prior to Dodge & Cox, he served as a portfolio manager at Farallon Capital, a proprietary trader and a strategist at JPMorgan.

Randolph Wedding, Senior Managing Director, Fixed Income, Office of the Treasurer, UC Regents, is responsible for the strategic focus and management of the long- and short-term fixed-income portfolios. Before joining the Treasurer's Office in 1998, he was manager of currency options and derivatives trading for Bank of America, NT&SA, New York; managing director, commodities and derivative sales for Bear Stearns & Co., New York; and principal, manager of fixed-income derivative sales for Morgan Stanley & Co., New York. Mr. Wedding began his career with Wells Fargo Bank, responsible for the Bank's Fixed Income Portfolio.
